CORE VALUES
For this week’s assignment, we were to identify twenty words that speak to our values as individuals and in our practice as designers. Here are my initial twenty words:

From here, we were to distill the list of twenty down to five words that best represent our self and core values and then create a vision moodboard of each. My five words are:

I decided to craft a handmade pennant that embodies the aspect of empathy and take it out into my community as an interactive experiment. Here are some progress shots of my artifact:
I used canvas, mortarboard, felt fabric, handmade letterforms, and sewing to create this piece.
